Lead Trainer

Patricia Hanley

Patricia T. Hanley, MA, LCMHC-S, NCC was trained in EMDR in 2014, became EMDRIA Certified in June 2015, and became an Approved Consultant in May 2018. She has coached multiple EMDR trainings and has Certified many clinicians in EMDR. Patricia is not only an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, she has also been an EMDR client, which profoundly changed her life professionally and personally. She has been licensed for 10 years and specializes in treating adults and teens with depression, grief, anxiety, panic, post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, family of origin issues, deployment issues, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, anger, low self-esteem, adjustment issues, and multicultural issues, and serves LGBTQIA*, military and civilian populations.

Libby Marlatt-Murdoch

Elizabeth (Libby) Marlatt-Murdoch is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinician Addictions Specialist, dually licensed in North Carolina and Ohio. She has been practicing in the fields of mental health and substance abuse since 2013. Libby is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is also Certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy as well as EMDR. Libby specializes in topics in neuroscience, including resilience, self-care, relationships, trauma, and addiction. She focuses on techniques based on brain science in treatment, including EMDR, and believes in educating and empowering her clients. As a published author and experienced trainer, Libby has a passion for making neuroscience accessible to clients and other clinicians in the field. Libby also works with special populations including active and retired military in addition to first responders; as a former military spouse and clinician who is actively involved in these communities, she understands the unique challenges these individuals and their families face.

This event will be conducted as a LIVE online webinar. Thrive uses Zoom as its primary video conferencing platform. You will need a high-speed internet connection and a laptop equipped with a webcam, speakers, and microphone. Many headphones or earbuds incorporate microphones.
